New York City Park Week – Day 4
We both have found that our favorite New York City parks are those located along the river fronts because they typically are less crowded, provide nice views, and have a good breeze. Rockefeller Park is located on the southwestern tip of Manhattan in the Battery Park City neighborhood right next to Tribeca. The park provides a nice reprieve from the city with large open green spaces, and a plethora of greenery. Additionally, the park has sculptures throughout, dog runs, playgrounds, and athletic facilities for visitors to enjoy, as well as a docking port for tourists. For those visiting lower Manhattan and particularly the Tribeca and Battery Park City neighborhoods, Rockefeller Park is the perfect place to visit for a nice walk after visiting one of the local restaurants, such as Khe-Yo.
