Pad Thai is one of Margaret’s absolute favorite dishes, and we are constantly looking for a place that serves a delicious plate of Pad Thai. Sage in Williamsburg, Brooklyn has thus far been one of the best to date! Sage is known for modern Thai, and the restaurant itself reflects this with a simple, sleek, look. The restaurant has a fresh airy feel with an indoor/outdoor setting as the restaurant opens up directly onto the small front patio, as well as wooded tree features throughout the inside of the restaurant. The inside has contrasting black furniture with white walls and a nice rustic wood to create a relaxed atmosphere. There is also a patio on the side for the visitors to dine at. Since Pad Thai is our favorite we ordered plates of that, as well as a house salad, coconut curry soup, and summer rolls. The food was delightful and the service was quite good. Sage was one of the first restaurants we went to when we moved to NYC, and it set the bar pretty high for not only Thai, but NYC dining in general.
