Restaurant Week-Day 1

For our restaurant week, we will be highlighting various Atlanta restaurants. Today is our first day and we will be focusing on Fogo de Chao, a full-service Brazilian restaurant in Buckhead. We were not aware, but Fogo de Chao is actually a chain restaurant; however, it still provided us with a fine dining experience. Margaret had spent some time in Brazil during an undergraduate study abroad program and was looking forward to experiencing a churrascaria again. Fogo de Chao has an elegant, but warm environment. Patrons can partake in the market table, a buffet style table with a variety of options, and the Churrasco. The churrasco is various meats that are seated and continuously brought around and served to you. The churrasco was absolutely delicious! Margaret said that it tasted just as good as when she was in Brazil. The meal was on the pricer end, but definitely worth the cost and we left the restaurant extremely full. Fogo de Chao was a fantastic way to try some Brazilian cuisine and enjoy a well-made delicious meal.
