Augustine’s is a Grant Park pub that offers a nice selection of craft beer and standard pub food, although with a more artisan twist. Augustine’s is located in an old gas station along Memorial Drive, but the gas station has been remodeled to look clean and nice. The exterior has quite a few windows, while the interior has a lot of dark wood and dark colors. The interior is warm and inviting but, since it was a nice, sunny day outside, we elected to sit on the patio. We found the beer list to be quite extensive, with lots of craft beer, especially local beer. After we settled on a choice, we checked out the food menu for a bite to eat. The menu was full of pub food like burgers and sandwiches, but they also had tacos, quesadillas, hot dogs, and salads. The items featured fresh ingredients with a few artisan details, which we found both satisfying but refreshing. Augustine’s was a fun place to go and would be perfect for an after work conversation with some good friends.
