La Hacienda is a Mexican-American restaurant located on Monroe Dr. between Midtown and Virginia Highlands. The exterior of the building is an adobe-type structure that looks like it would be a Mexican restaurant. The interior is similarly decorated with yellow walls and sombreros, Mexican rugs, and other accessories scattered around the walls. La Hacienda’s menu is expansive, with copious selections of quest, salsa, nachos, burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas, fajitas, tacos, and chicken, pork, steak, and seafood dishes. You might spend quite a lot of time just looking through the menu, especially since La Hacienda also has an extensive drink list. We shared a margarita, which was a nice addition to our meal. We ordered some tacos and enjoyed our meal. La Hacienda is a fairly standard Mexican-American restaurant, so if you’re in the mood for some Tex-Mex food some evening, La Hacienda might be a nice choice.
