We thoroughly enjoy wild rice; however, each wild rice box mix we found have a rather unhealthy amount of sodium, so we searched for awhile to find a plain wild rice mix blend and then add our own seasonings to create our own wild rice. We finally found a blend called Royal Blend and, combining seasonings, we found a nice version of wild rice that is much healthier.
1 cup wild rice mix (Royal Blend)
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
1 teaspoon Onion powder
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
Sprinkle of salt
This is a very simple and easy addition to any meal. All you need to do is cook the rice, and then add the seasonings. We provided you with a suggested amount; however, we always encourage you to play with the amounts to create your very own perfect flavor.
