One of the benefits to the growing number of breweries in Atlanta is that it seems as though each major area or neighborhood of Atlanta has its own brewery. Eventide Brewing is in the Grant Park neighborhood in a small industrial-type building, although Eventide has managed to create a welcoming interior through its use of wood and nice lighting. When we visited, the brewery had a nice crowd, but it wasn’t overwhelming, so we were able to enjoy our beers at our leisure, sipping and talking in a more intimate setting. Eventide brews more traditional styles, and we were able to try several while we were there. We enjoyed most the Citrus Grove Hefeweizen, a lemony treat during the summer, and the Eventide Stout, a drinkable dark beer perfect as a session beer in front of the fire. Visiting Eventide was a pleasant experience and seemed like a great place to go to just kick back and enjoy the company of friends whilst having a couple of beers. We recommend Eventide for a relaxing Saturday afternoon activity.
