There are a few perks about living in the South, and one of them is that summer activities can be extended, including amusement parks. Growing up in St. Louis we often got Six Flags season passes, but unfortunately, due to the fact it gets cold around the end of October, the park is only open until Halloween. Due to warmer temperatures, Six Flags Over Georgia is open through December providing you with an additional two months of activities. Six Flags Over Georgia is a Six Flags theme park located just southwest of Atlanta. We purchased passes this year, and it allowed us to explore both Six Flags Over Georgia and Six Flags White Water, as well as any additional Six Flags theme park. Like most theme parks, Six Flags has a variety of different attractions, including, rides, shows, and seasonal attractions, including Fright Fest for Halloween and Holiday in the Park for Christmas. Six Flags Over Georgia also has Hurricane Harbor, a water park included in the amusement park. The park’s attractions and activities makes for a nice day out enjoying frills and thrills. Thus far, we have enjoyed visiting Six Flags Over Georgia and, thanks to Georgia’s weather, we are able to enjoy it for an extra couple of months.
