Because Georgia does not allow breweries to sell their beer on premise, breweries are unable to function as normal bars as in most other parts of the country. One way that breweries are able to get around the beer laws is by having brewpubs-restaurants that also brew beer. 5 Seasons Brewing is just such a brewpub. There are three 5 Seasons located in the Atlanta area-one near Alpharetta, one near Sandy Springs, and one in Midtown. We visited the location in Midtown, which is near Centennial Park. The exterior of the building is a large brick structure with tons of windows. The interior is modern, but still relaxing and welcoming with warm lighting and brick walls.
Each of the 5 Seasons features a different menu, but each also has a plethora of options, from pizza to sandwiches to entrees. All of the items on the menu are artisan creations; your mouth will be watering just looking at the menu. As a brewery, 5 Seasons, of course, features a number of rotating beers at their brewpub. While we were there, there were a variety of traditional styles, as well as twists on those styles. We tried a flight of beer and enjoyed each drink we had, making our visit a fun one. 5 Seasons is a great stop for a pint after work or for evening out with that special someone.
