One of our absolute favorite places in Atlanta is Slice & Pint located in Emory Village in Druid Hills. Slice & Pint use to be known as Friendly’s for years and was a popular hangout for Emory students and professors. Even though the restaurant has changed, it is still a popular place for the local community to dine and spend time with friends. The environment is ideal for meeting up and having a delicious meal or just grabbing a couple beers and snacks. Slice & Pint is relaxed and homey, with a nice outdoor patio. Our favorite spot to sit though is under the glass ceiling, making you feel cozy, but also like you are outdoors. Not only is the location quaint, but the staff is friendly, and you will enjoy your overall experience.

Emory Village

Slice & Pint, as obvious in the name, is a pizzeria and brewery, however, Slice & Pint also has bragging rights with almost everything else on their menu. From their appetizers, to their sandwiches, to their salads, to their pizza and calzones, you cannot go wrong with anything. A personal favorite snack to accompany their beer is their fries and fried mozzarella-absolutely incredible. Our favorite pizza is the heywood’s ultimate pepperoni, but at this point we have probably tried every pizza on their menu and enjoyed each one.

Slice & Pint’s beer is just as good as their food, making  it the complete package for brewpub standards. They have a continual rotation of beers every time we go and each time we go, the beer as been refreshingly fantastic. Margaret would recommend the Czech It Out pilsner if it is on tap and you like light beers. Every beer we have tried thus far though is a solid beer, and you cannot go wrong with any selection. Besides beer, Slice & Pint also offers artisan sodas that are delicious and provide another tasty beverage option. They also offer cocktails and wine, so whatever you fancy, Slice & Pint will provide you with a yummy time.

Slice & Pint

We cannot sing the praises of Slice & Pint enough! The food, the beverages, and the atmosphere all make for a great time. You should definitely go and enjoy!
