As the area in Druid Hills near I-85 develops, new businesses are being built and opening up. The most recent new business is a burger bar named Grub. Since we love burgers and we wanted to have burgers one more time before giving up meat for lent, we tried it out on Mardi Gras aka Fat Tuesday.

The interior is decorated in a spartan and modern decor and it is tastefully done. There are plenty of windows and bright colors to add a lively atmosphere. While it was chilly when we went, there is also a lovely outdoor seating area that would be nice in the warmer months. One can either sit at the bar and order there or walk to the front counter to place an order, after which one can sit down wherever one would like. Servers will bring the food to you wherever you are sitting, and it only takes a few minutes to receive your order. Margaret ordered the front porch and Micah ordered the Texas Luau. Both of us added fries and a drink as well. With the addition of the fries and drink, the prices were reasonable, but not cheap. For example, Flip Burger was not significantly more expensive. However, the prices reflect the quality of the meal. The burgers were large and very flavorful. The fries were well-seasoned and excellent. Overall, the quality of the food was fantastic, and we would certainly return, which is saying quite a lot for us since we always like trying new things. If you’re in the neighborhood, we certainly recommend giving Grub a try!

Side Note: They have no meat options as well!
